The Association of Healthcare Providers (India) (AHPI) is pleased to expand its membership network by bringing medical colleges under its umbrella to strengthen medical education and the healthcare ecosystem in India.
India has one of the largest medical education systems in the world, yet aspiring doctors and medical institutions face several challenges. Addressing these challenges through meaningful reforms and inclusive medical education is essential for building a stronger healthcare system.
AHPI is a not-for-profit organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It represents healthcare providers across India and advocates with the Government, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on healthcare reforms, infrastructure, taxation, tariffs, health insurance, and issues affecting equitable healthcare delivery.
With a vision of building a healthy India, AHPI works towards improving access to essential healthcare services and facilitating collaboration among healthcare providers, government bodies, and society. Its initiatives include the AHPI Healthcare Academy, which offers healthcare management courses focused on patient safety and quality, and the AHPI Healthcare Certification Centre, which develops healthcare standards, supports certification, and provides quality management and healthcare management training.
AHPI also facilitates regional collaboration through its state and regional chapters across India, including Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi NCR, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra & Goa, Manipur, Northeast, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh & J&K, Haryana, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. ncourage greater engagement among medical institutions and healthcare stakeholders, supporting collective efforts towards quality healthcare, inclusive medical
